Great topic. I think you were very gracious dealing with it. I’ve been on the mission field for 3 years. I think that Tom is right to vet his missionaries. It’s obviously harder to vet a new missionary but he should at least have ministry experience and the recommendation of his pastor. I vetted every church I went to on deputation. I didn’t want to be in every church, just ones I wanted to partner with. Not everyone has that same attitude of partnership towards missions; that’s ok.
